Learning in my weakness, there is weaker yet;
Standing in the middle except I can only sit;
Holding in sobs until my throat might break;
Letting thoughts go that are too much to take;
Tripping at the place where despair is;
Reaching for a grip then stillness;
Remembering You’re still holding fast;
Hearing Your soft words at long last:
“Why did you wander far into Feeling?
When you are safe and secure in Truth.”
Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
