Here’s a look at our week. Physical therapy, Sunday School, “Back to School” open house, hanging with friends, a day at the park and binge-watching Chopped on a rainy day.
Justin is enrolled in second grade this year, and we are praying he is able to attend more often than not. He is much stronger than he was a year ago today and, for that, we are so very grateful.
On Tuesday, Justin will begin another round of treatment with the dreaded spinal tap, chemotherapy infusions and steroids. Hopefully we can come up with a plan to get his high white blood cell count under control.
Our President has declared today a National Day of Prayer. We hope you will join us in lifting up the people of Texas to our great God. Grace be with you, my friends.

Don’t forget September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Donate, write a note of encouragement or give blood. We need better research, better cures, better treatments and more support for our pediatric cancer patients. Wear a gold ribbon to show your support!
I am thrilled that Justin is enrolled in school! We are praying, praying. Chloe is so excited to wear a gold ribbon in her bookbag for Justin. She asks about him often. God is using this to help her to learn to care about others and helping her learn to pray.
